Eyelash extensions are a luxury treatment that includes applying synthetic lashes onto each individual natural lash. Eyelash extensions add length, density, and volume to your natural lashes. When applied and maintained correctly there is zero damage to your natural lashes. Your natural lashes will slowly fall out over time regardless if you have a synthetic lash attached or not. They are perfect for everyday wear, or for a special event! Most people come in for a “fill”, to replace the lost lashes that naturally shed every 3 weeks.
Classic lash extensions: classic lash extensions are a more natural, or mascara-like look. Each synthetic lash applied is thicker in diameter than your natural lashes. They are applied to a 1:1 ratio of fake lash to natural lash. This is considered a traditional lash technique and is very popular. However, if you do not have a full natural lash line, this type of lash technique is not as fulfilling and won’t give you the results you would expect. A lash style called volume would be more beneficial for those individuals.
Volume lash extensions are an advanced lash technique where 2-10 ultra-thin synthetic lashes are applied in a “fan” to each natural lash. When done properly this style of lashes will not damage your natural lashes either. Volume lashes are completely customizable. They can be made as dramatic or subtle as desired. This is the most popular lash technique applied by artists today. It creates a very soft, full, voluminous, and dense look. This is especially beneficial for those with weak, brittle, or sparse natural lashes.
